How to download Pinterest images

    Open the image pin in the Pinterest app, tap Share, then Copy link. On a computer, open the pin and copy the address from the browser bar.

Pinterest image sizes: which one should you download?

Pinterest stores each image in several widths, so pages load fast. The feed usually shows a small copy. FetchPins lists four sizes, with the pixel width and file size on each button, so you can pick the one that fits.

Why do Pinterest images look blurry or small?

The Pinterest feed shows a compressed, medium-width copy of each image so pages load quickly. A screenshot of the feed captures that copy, plus your screen's frame and icons, so it often looks soft or cropped. FetchPins downloads the stored image file itself, so choosing Large gives you the sharpest size it offers, with no screen icons or cropping.

Doesn't Pinterest have its own download button?

Yes, for many image pins. As Pinterest Help explains, you open the pin, tap the three dots (•••) and choose Download image. Some pins can't be saved by any tool. Here's what to do instead.

Can I download Pinterest images in HD?

FetchPins saves images up to 736 px wide (Large). That looks sharp on a phone screen, but it is not a full HD file. FetchPins never enlarges an image, because that adds size, not detail.
