About FetchPins
FetchPins is a free online tool that saves Pinterest videos, images, GIFs and audio from a pin link. You paste the link, pick a format and the file goes straight to your phone or computer. There is no app, no account and no login.
Who runs FetchPins?
FetchPins is run by Muhammad Ahmed Khan and Muhammad Jamal Ashrafi in Karachi, Pakistan. It is an independent project — if you write to us, a real person reads it.
Why we built it
Pinterest is full of recipes, tutorials, wallpapers and short videos people want to keep. The app lets you save a pin to a board, but that is only a bookmark. If the pin is deleted, it is gone, and other people's video pins have no download button at all. FetchPins fills that gap with a simple tool that tells you the truth about what you are downloading.
What FetchPins can download
| Pin type | What you get | Page |
|---|---|---|
| Video pin | MP4 with sound in the qualities the pin has, such as 720p, 540p or 360p | Pinterest Video Downloader |
| Image pin | Large (736 px), Medium (564 px), Small (474 px) or Tiny (236 px) | Pinterest Image Downloader |
| GIF pin | The animated .gif file uploaded to the pin | Pinterest GIF Downloader |
| Audio from a video pin | MP3 or M4A | Pinterest to MP3 |
What we won't do
- We won't promise 4K or HD that a pin doesn't have. Most Pinterest videos are 720p, and enlarging a file adds size, not detail.
- We won't ask for your Pinterest login or password, ever.
- We won't download private pins or secret boards.
- We won't store the files you download or keep a list of the links you paste.
- We won't add a watermark to your files.
How it works
When you paste a public pin link, FetchPins reads the media that Pinterest already serves for that pin and shows you the formats and sizes that exist. When you press Download, the file comes from Pinterest's servers to your device. FetchPins doesn't host Pinterest content.

Use it responsibly
Pins belong to the people who made them. Downloading for personal use, like a mood board, a recipe or offline viewing, is how most people use FetchPins. To repost or use a pin commercially, ask the creator first. Read more in Is it legal to download from Pinterest?.
